It's hard to believe that another year has come and almost gone. And -- despite the current economic turmoil around us -- it's been a year of good growth and many positive accomplishments for Vmeals. We wish everyone the very best for the New Year!
New Lower Order Minimums
New lower order minimums are on the way.
We've heard the comments from our Vmeals customers that our minimum order amount threshholds are too high for some of our vendors. The comment usually goes something like this: "I'd place a lot more orders with Sam's Deli if their minimum order wasn't $150."
Higher order minimums are typically a function of the delivery distance between our vendor and our customer. It's hard for our vendors to make money delivering a $25 order all the way across town...
We've recently made significant technology enhancements to allow our vendors to set lower order minimums -- and thereby generate more order volume for themselves -- and to set a modest delivery charge for smaller orders to help offset their costs. We think this will be a win-win for our customers, our vendors, and for Vmeals.
Let us know if there's a favorite Vmeals vendor in your area whom you would order more from if their minimums were lower. We'll be happy to work with you and them to make that happen!
