It was a busy week last week at the Vmeals Worldwide HQ! Not only have we been hard at work feeding customers across the country, we've added some new team members and hosted a few more meetings than usual.
With lots of visitors in the office, it's just good manners, good hospitality and good business to feed people. Food makes people happy. Food makes people feel welcome. Food can make a bland meeting worth showing up for (not that we ever have any dull, unproductive meetings, right?).
So when we have a board meeting, staff training, or host propective clients, we do what we're always telling you that you should do: order through Vmeals. Anyone reponsible for organizing an event has only to log on, pick a menu, make selections and submit the order. Food magically appears on our conference room table without any further effort on the orderer's part.
It reminds me of those old Ron Popeil infomercials: Set it, and forget it! Or maybe it's more like Sy Sperling in those ads for Hair Club for Men: I'm not just the Hair Club President, I'm a client too!
Food may seem like an easy choice when budget cuts are required, but I'd argue that you get a lot of bang for your buck when you incorporate food into your business functions. Meetings become more compelling, morale improves, clients are impressed - all good for your bottom line. Hey, it works for us.
