I have been dying to use that headline for ages, and now I have a good occasion for it. (Everyone knows bacon makes everything better!)
You see, the Vmeals service center fields calls everyday from clients who find themselves in a bind. They may have been given last minute instructions to arrange lunch for some visiting office VIPs - or worse - the instructions weren't last minute, but somehow that task got buried in the to-do list. Oops.
We get calls from admins in a corporate office that need to arrange food for a field office in another city and don't know where to begin.
We get calls from harried pharma reps who may have survived the latest round of layoffs but now find their workload and territory size has doubled and lunch is the last carrot they have to get face time with doctors.
Oh, and you may have heard that we had a little inclement weather this winter. (Snowpocalypse, Snowmageddon, SnOMG!) Many meetings and meals were cancelled, but some employers had to host and feed staff for extended periods to keep operations running. For these businesses, closing was just not an option, so Vmeals became part of their emegency response plan.
Just such a story appeared recently on Forbes.com about one of our Richmond, Virginia clients.
Do you have a great story to tell? We'd love to hear about how Vmeals may have saved your bacon - or just made your job a little easier or made you look a little better. Send your story to mfulton@vmeals.com. You could become famous!
